2018 Burton US Open:

interview booth

 

An unbuilt schematic design proposal done in 2017 for an interview booth at the 36th Annual Burton US Open held in Vail Colorado in 2018. The structure was to be constructed of a hidden metal framework to which rough-hewn pine boards would be affixed, enclosing the interior of the space to create a feeling of relating to the vernacular architecture of the area. This would be accented by an illuminated backing satellite image of the mountains surrounding Vail.
