A collaborative project done with Nikki Brooks, “Life Code” is comprised of a series of ten unique but thematically interlinked works of varying size; five mixed media works and five digital collage prints. Through the convergence of our differing methodologies, we seek to provoke a dialogue on the preservation of what is most vital, offering an artistic lens on how the values and histories we hold dear might endure—or fade—through the fabric of time and how meaning is constructed, sustained, and ultimately transformed in the face of change.
