item 10: the necropolis of animals

 

The tenth chapter in the ongoing A Virtual Memory audio-visual art project, this album, released in the winter of 2023, was made in direct response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Musically, it was crafted from early 2020 up until late 2022; effectively serving as a sonic document of what those years felt like. Artistically, it is a permutation of themes explored in 2022’s “Radiant Decay” digital collage series; again being completely comprised of Smithsonian material.
