item 08: Thresholds in flux [vol. 02]

 

The eighth chapter in the ongoing A Virtual Memory audio-visual art project, this triple album, released in the winter of 2019, is a rumination on anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation. It was conceived as a narrative within a narrative told over the course of three distinct yet interconnected acts: “The Itch”, “The Drift”, and “The Dance”. Artistically, this was expressed via the photographic juxtaposition of sacred objects with derelict buildings and places.
