item 06: songs for god [vol. 01]

 

The sixth chapter in the ongoing A Virtual Memory audio-visual art project, this double album, released in the winter of 2018, sought to expatiate the idea of contradiction explored on “Item 05”. It focuses specifically on the relationship between biological versus socialized time, the natural versus synthetic, sincerity versus superficiality, prehistory versus modernity. Artistically, this was expressed via the juxtaposition of mixed-media with digital collage.
