The fourth chapter in the ongoing A Virtual Memory audio-visual art project, this reverse-chronological dark ambient reworking of Sleater-Kinney’s 1996 album “Call the Doctor”, released in the autumn of 2017, was heavily inspired by the Pacific Northwest of the United States and Canada. The accompanying artwork, comprised of photographs mostly taken around Seattle, Portland, and Vancouver in 2016 is a visual representation of the spirit of that particular environment, edited to highlight a feeling of “darkness” found (but often unnoticed) in nature.
