Gone//Still [ep]
The third chapter in the ongoing A Virtual Memory audio-visual art project, this two-track album, released in the summer of 2017, further focused on themes of geological or "deep" time, in this instance specifically the Permian-Triassic mass extinction event of 251.9 million years ago; the artwork reflecting the aridity and desolation of a dying world. Musically, it is comprised of two longform ambient reworkings of the Nine Inch Nail song “Gone, Still”.
