x becoming / x became

 

The first chapter in the A Virtual Memory audio-visual art project begun in early 2017. The impetus for this ongoing, diaristic endeavor is a continuation of the architectural thesis project A Passage in Time, specifically in terms of exploring the five layers of time outlined in that investigation: cosmic, geological, biological, socialized, and personal. This first release was a complete, science-fiction inspired reworking of Sneaker Pimps’ 1996 album “Becoming X”.
