Intentional

 

A minimalist architectural study done in 2013, this piece is taken from a number of works generated out of an exercise exploring the basic tenets of the design process, in this particular case, intentionality. The challenge was to use two materials, sticks and stones, to create a simple work that exemplifies the idea of designing with a clear intention from the outset. The regular version was done to highlight the materiality, the inverted version to highlight the resulting form.
